Coding This service captures bibliographic information such as: Date, type of document, page numbers, attachment ranges, authors, copyees, date recipients and others.
Subjective
Coding This involves capture of more detailed information from the document body: names and organizations mentioned in the text, notes on the margins (marginalia), titles as well as other client specified information.

to top] Your paper is organized in order to ensure the accuracy of data that is input. When the paper is organized and scanned in this manner, the images that come up on the screen for data entry are already organized so that the chances of error are minimized. Pages that must logically follow each other are already set up so that the operator can concentrate on data entry rather than searching for the appropriate page. HN Data Services retains an entirely separate batch of keyers for legal work. These operators are trained for at least 6 months before they are allowed to work on actual data. Some of the keyers have almost ten years experience. Paralegals are employed as shift supervisors in order to answer questions that may arise during data entry. Our own Legal Eagle software is used after the data has been entered to automatically do random searches using key words. This procedure checks for data integrity and any entries that do not match the search process are flagged for review. |
